Need To Go Beyond Pads

Although pads are an effective modern option for menstrual hygiene, they are not that great for the environment as their disposal poses many challenges and can come with public health consequences. While sanitary napkins are being widely accepted as menstrual products and as a substitute for traditional options like using cloth, other options such as menstrual cups are attributed to be better both for the environment and for women’s health.
