Did you know that mouthwash has many uses besides keeping your breath fresh? Its antiseptic and antifungal properties can be helpful for a handful of everyday things, from treating acne and dandruff to cleaning your glasses and keeping your feet odor-free.

It helps to eliminate any lingering odors:

After cutting an onion, garlic, or fish in the kitchen, simply rub a little mouthwash on your hands. Put some mouthwash on a towel and massage your feet with it after bathing to avoid odor.

You can also prevent kitchen trash from stinking by putting cotton balls or paper towels soaked in mouthwash in the trash.

Helps Cure Fungus On Your Nails And Feet

Mix 2 equal parts of mouthwash and vinegar. Dampen a cotton ball with the mixture and apply it to nails and/or feet 2 to 3 times a day. If you do this consistently, in a few weeks you will see results.

Prevents Dandruff

Mouthwash has antifungal properties, making it perfect for fighting dandruff. Before bathing, mix 1 part water with 1 part mouthwash. After washing your head with a regular shampoo, apply this mixture to your scalp, let it sit for a few minutes, and rinse.

To get rid of germs and odors in the toilet area, pour half a cup of mouthwash down the toilet and let it sit for an hour. Then swirl it up with a toilet brush.

Keep Mosquitoes Away

Insects don’t like the smell of menthol, so you can use mouthwash to protect yourself from flies, mosquitoes, and even ants (they just disappear).

Spray your home and hiding places with a mixture of 1 part mouthwash and 1 part water.

Keep Your Flowers Fresh

Place your freshly cut flowers in the water. For every ½ liter, add 3 caps of mouthwash. This will help the flowers last longer and look better.
