The boss of a real estate agent was caught on camera unleashing a torrent of hate on a cafe waiter in a furious tirade after his hand was allegedly accidentally sprayed.

Mahin Abedin, managing director of Innerwest Property at Homebush in Sydney, called the waiter a ‘fucking f***’ and a ‘jerk’ in the homophobic outburst.

The waiter at the family-run Bar Cortona cafe can be heard calling the police for help in the aggressive confrontation, but that only further spurs the realtor on.

‘Absolute shit. Look at his eyes. You’re messing with the wrong person’, the agent gets furious with the waiter.

The barista can be heard telling police, “I have a very abusive person at my dad’s cafe calling me a jerk…he’s just yelling obscenities.”

The officer tells the waiter to tell the police that he “is calling you an idiot too.”

The ugly crash was filmed by a customer who posted the footage on social media.

The waiter was so traumatized by last Wednesday’s incident that he has been unable to work a full shift since the confrontation.

‘I feel nauseous every day. I’m just isolating myself and [not] wanting to leave the apartment.’

The waiter is understood to have been so traumatized by the incident that he has been unable to return to work since the confrontation.

Mahin Abedin, managing director of Innerwest Property at Homebush in Sydney, called the waiter a “fucking bastard” and an “asshole” in the homophobic outburst.

The dispute is said to have broken out after the waiter was cleaning the outside tables of the cafe and accidentally sprayed Mr. Abedin’s hand.

The realtor claims the waiter, 33, then touched his hand, which the waiter denies.

“No one was touched, I didn’t grab anyone, and when it was over, I just walked in.”

“Next thing I know, he’s on the inside saying, ‘Why the hell did you spray my hand?’ and he put his fist in my face, saying he was going to smash my face in.”

“Then he went on a rant for 15 minutes calling me a fucking bastard and calling my family white trash.”

He said the abuse continued even when he called the police for help.

‘And he just wouldn’t leave,’ the barista said. “I kept telling him to go away, but he and his teammates stayed there while he abused me.”

Later, the waiter’s older brother confronted the real estate agent in his office about the incident, prompting another outburst of anger.

The waiter added: “I was really shocked and my brother came in and I blurted out what happened.” He was just trying to do the right thing.

The waiter’s brother, Ryan Bell, 38, has now received a restraining order after his confrontation with the real estate agent.

“My brother has put up with this shit his whole life and he never did anything bad to anyone,” Bell wrote on Reddit. He deserves to feel safe.

‘My brother doesn’t want to go to work anymore because of this. I arrived a little later and the police still hadn’t arrived, my brother was still shaking and he told me what happened.

“I went to the guy’s office around the corner and told him never to come back and probably some other shit he shouldn’t have said…

“The next day [the police] took statements from both parties and gave me my [apprehended violence order] and the common assault documents for the court.”

He added: ‘The other guy hasn’t been served an AVO, he can go back there whenever he wants and he works very close.

‘My brother wakes up feeling sick with anxiety and not wanting to go to work

‘I can’t go and sit there in the cafe anymore because of the AVO, so my brother is there waiting for this idiot to come back.’

An AVO hearing involving Mr. Abedin vs. the waiter’s brother is scheduled for Thursday at Burwood Local Court.

NSW Police confirmed the waiter’s brother had been charged with assault and served with an ADVO following the second incident, but add that the investigation was still underway.

‘On Wednesday 28 September 2022 officers from the Auburn Police Area Command commenced an investigation into an alleged incident at a restaurant on Rochester Street at Homebush,’ said a police spokesman.

‘Police have been told a patron and an employee became engaged in a verbal altercation and the incident was reported to police.

‘Later the same day police will allege a 38-year-old man attended a business on Burlington Road at Homebush where he allegedly assaulted another man.

‘Following investigations police served a 38-year-old man with an apprehended domestic violence order and a field court attendance notice for assault. He is expected to appear at Burwood Local Court on October 6.
