Numerous Michigan agencies are looking into what happened to three rappers who vanished ten days ago following the cancellation of a club performance, according to Detroit Police.
According to Michael McGinnis, commander of significant crimes, the mother of one of the missing victims reported her child missing the following day and took charge of the investigation by using OnStar to look for her car.
McGinnis claims that Dante Wicker, 31, Montoya Givens, 31, and Armani Kelly, 28, were all set to perform at a club in Detroit on January 21.
McGinnis stated that they were aware of the cancellation of the performance but still had many unanswered concerns. He continued by saying that by the early hours of January 22 all of their phones had stopped functioning.

Montoya Givens is one of the Detroit rappers who went missing on January 21.
Givens and Wicker were not listed on the NamUS database, but the Detroit Police Department confirmed to N.B.C. News that they had both filed missing person reports.
The morning following his performance, Kelly Kemp’s mother, Lorrie Kemp, reported the incident. Using the truck’s tracking system, she followed his truck to a complex of apartments in Warren, a city 15 miles north of Detroit. She circulated flyers on Gratiot Street, where Loung 31 is located, and conducted neighborhood surveys.
Kemp claims that Kelly picked up Montoya and Dante prior to the concert. Speaking with Dante’s mother and girlfriend, Kemp told WDIV, “breaks my heart.” She also expressed regret over her son’s choice to pick up Dante and Montoya.
