Teen Wolf alum Tyler Posey revealed he matured after spending five months of the coronavirus pandemic lockdown sober from all drugs and alcohol.
‘There was a moment where it got a little scary and I felt like I needed some help,’ the 29-year-old LA native confessed to Just for Variety on Tuesday.
‘I’m not completely sober anymore. I felt like since I was about 14 years old, I’ve stunted my mental growth from just not dealing with anything and dealing with it with weed or drugs or booze.

The 29-year-old LA native confessed to Just for Variety on Tuesday: ‘There was a moment where it got a little scary and I felt like I needed some help…It sped up the process of me growing up and dealing with the stuff that I haven’t been dealing with forever’

Tyler – a self-described ‘lazy pothead’ – spent his five months on the wagon ‘meditating every day and praying to a higher power.’
Posey created his free subscription OnlyFans account back in September, and a month later he revealed he was sexually fluid.
‘I did this live on OnlyFans and they were asking me stuff that horny people would ask you: “Have you been with a man? Have you been with the opposite sex? What was it like?” And I was just being honest about it, because no one’s ever asked me before,’ the ex-boyfriend of Bella Thorne explained.

‘It was just a split-second decision. I didn’t think about how it would be received or what kind of press I would get on it, but I woke up the next day and it was all these tabloids about me coming out as pansexual. I didn’t label that.’
It didn’t come as a complete surprise considering Tyler previously revealed he’d been with transgender women before in an August 21 Instagram post.
In the midst of all the confessions, the Alone actor’s father John Posey reached out to him to make sure he was doing okay.

‘He was totally cool about it, and I was like, “Yeah, man. I just didn’t want to hold myself back, and I had an interest in trying new things,” and he was like, “Okay, well, I understand that,”‘ Posey smiled.

Posey smiled: ‘Fortunately, my dad was awesome. I’ve told people, kids who are worried about telling their parents my dad’s reaction, and they’re like, “Okay. Well, maybe my parents won’t be so hard on me if I tell them”‘

The 65-year-old actor was famously replaced by Grammy-nominated comedian Bob Saget as Danny Tanner after shooting the pilot for ABC sitcom Full House back in 1987.
Sadly, Tyler’s momager Cyndi Garcia Posey died, age 55, in December 2014 following a four-year battle with breast cancer.
Posey was on the podcast promoting his new single Shut Up featuring his girlfriend Phem and Grammy-nominated drummer Travis Barker, which dropped last Friday.
