What Are Fibroids?

Fibroids are muscular tumours that usually develop around the uterine (womb) wall. These are non-cancerous growth and don’t call for medical attention. The sizes of these fibroids can range from an apple seed to a grapefruit in the uterus. Although they are non-cancerous in nature, in some rare cases, the condition can lead to unbearable symptoms such as heavy menses, reproductive issues, increased urinary frequency, anaemia, and abdominal pain.
