THE cause of death of Pawn Stars Rick Harrison’s son has officially been ruled an accidental drug overdose.
Adam Harrison, the second oldest child of the popular pawn shop owner, was found dead in Las Vegas on January 19.
Harrison, 39, died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl and methamphetamine, the Clark County Coronors Office confirmed to TMZ.
Rick, the owner of the renowned Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, mourned his son’s death at the time of his passing.
“You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam,” Rick captioned a photo of him and his son smiling together in a restaurant.
The famous pawn shop owner previously slammed the fentanyl disaster in the US, telling TMZ, “The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously.
“It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”
Rick’s store is famously featured on the History series Pawn Stars.
The series centers around the family-run pawn shop, taking viewers inside the business with the Harrison family.
The family uses their sharp-eyed skills to discover what items are authentic and which are fake and negotiate with sellers and potential buyers on a price.
Harrison previously helped in the pawn store but was not featured on television, unlike Rick’s eldest son, Corey, 40.
Little is known about Harrison’s life, with TMZ reporting he worked as a plumber.
The outlet also reported the 39-year-old worked professionally in another local trade.
Harrison and Corey are Rick’s children from his first marriage to his ex-wife, Kim.
Rick is also a father to his youngest, Jake, from his second marriage with his wife, Tracy.
