Lea applied to the Forest Service in Oregon to work as a firefighter to help battle forest fires. Lea got a taste of hard labor while working with a squad of firemen for a day. He also faced bodily peril after getting poison oak on his arm. Lea was then informed of additional unpleasant aspects of her profession. Lea quickly understood that he needed to find a simpler way to earn a livelihood. The following day, Lea saw an ad in the newspaper for a car salesperson and applied for the position. He not only got the job, but he also received a free automobile. He immediately became an expert in automobile sales. Aside from vehicles, Lea has successfully sold artwork, RVs, vacuums, and a variety of other items. He finally took on the responsibility of operating, training, and directing a sales staff.
When he was supervising a sales team in 1999, he spotted a hardworking worker earning the minimum salary. He then resolved to assist that guy in earning more money. “I brought him up to sales and taught him how to sell and close,” Lea said. Within three months, he was earning $10-15,000 per month, which really altered his life…and the lives of his family.” Lea felt a feeling of pleasure and contentment after seeing such an incredible shift in that person’s life, which he did not get from his accomplishment. With this as his foundation, Lea resigned from his job and founded a training firm to teach more people how to succeed and generate more money. He first failed horribly and became demotivated as a result.
Lea, on the other hand, devised more effective training tactics. He also created a technology that allowed him to prosper in the market. Lea quickly found success in web-based teaching. LightSpeed VT is the moniker he gave his firm. His life’s objective, according to him, is “to transfer knowledge from those who have it to those who need it.” Lea is the author of the book ‘The Real Deal.’ He’s now writing his second book, titled ‘The Hard Way.’ According to Lea, his future book is about the life lessons he has learned the hard way so that others do not have to.
