COLIN Jost has ended his friendship with Pete Davidson after a decade and he now “refuses to be in the same room” as him.
An insider exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Colin, 42, and Pete, 30, have stopped speaking and it’s gotten to the point that the former has refused to even be at the famed 30 Rock together, where Saturday Night Live is taped.
“Pete and Colin can’t be in 30 Rock together. Something big happened and Colin is now refusing to be in the same building, let alone the same room as Pete,” the insider alleged.
“Colin doesn’t want to be associated with Pete,” the insider alleged of the comedian, who was seen in his hometown of Staten Island in recent weeks on the heels of his latest rehab stint, according to fan photos.
The insider said it’s unclear how the comedians’ rift has impacted their purchase of the decommissioned Staten Island Ferry, which finally saw its first official use when Tommy Hilfiger hosted their New York Fashion Week show on the vessel.
Pete was MIA for the ship’s first fete.
It was only Colin who appeared at the NYFW show on September 8.
The Saturday Night Live head writer gave interviews about his and Pete’s ill-fated purchase of the vessel and did not speak favorably about their investment from 2022.
He told People buying a decommissioned Staten Island ferry was “absolutely the dumbest and least thought-through purchase I’ve ever made in my life.”
The ferry was purchased by Colin and Pete at auction for $280,000 in a partnership, which includes architect and developer Ron Castellano and comedy club owner Paul Italia.
While the reported plans for the ship have varied widely — from an entertainment venue to a floating hotel with bars and restaurants — it’s unclear how the pair’s alleged rift will ultimately impact their investment.
Reps for both Pete and Colin did not respond to requests for comment.
M.I.A. PETE
Last month an insider close to Pete told The U.S. Sun that the Saturday Night Live alum disappeared from close friends’ lives, and Hollywood pals turned their backs on him.
The insider said that Pete “has pretty much gotten rid of everyone who once surrounded him.”
“He got rid of his assistant and best friend after he was the best man at his wedding,” the source said.
The insider added Pete’s become a ghost to his once tight circle of friends.
The insider also alleged that checking into rehab in July, the comedian was missing work meetings.
“He’s he’s too much of a headache. He’s just really hard to deal with, not showing up to meetings,” they continued.
The insider said at least one project had been canceled due to Pete’s alleged work performance.
Word that Pete had entered rehab came just after his split from his most recent girlfriend, Madelyn Cline.
A source exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Pete and Madelyn’s relationship had just run its course and the breakup was “amicable” after a year of dating.
LATEST REHAB STINT
The Bupkis actor checked into a wellness facility sometime in July, People reported.
“Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues,” a source had previously told the outlet.
An insider told the publication that since Pete’s borderline personality disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder diagnoses in 2017, his mental health has “always been a priority.”
Pete Davidson’s Rehab Stints
Pete first checked into rehab in 2017 as he was diagnosed with BPD and PTSD.
In 2019, he went to the Sierra Tucson Treatment Center in Arizona.
The comedian underwent treatment at another mental health facility in June 2023.
Most recently, he checked back into rehab at the end of July 2024.
A source revealed that Pete had left the facility after only a few weeks.
The source also claimed that Pete’s sobriety was a priority.
But Pete’s latest rehab stint lasted only weeks, however, a source claimed to The U.S. Sun.
CANCELED TOUR DATES
Pete was in the middle of his Prehab Tour, when it was announced he was back in rehab.
His shows from Kansas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, and Texas, all had been canceled on Ticketmaster.
