She revealed that she had been sick with an eating disorder for quite a long time.
She shared that she struggled with her body image, mainly due to the negative comments she received on her social media. It wasn’t just the people on social media; the film and television studios too constantly asked her to lose weight.
The 26-year-old actress also mentioned that she went through a severe disorder and had a therapist live with her.
Further, she also opened up about having suicidal thoughts when she was younger, which she barely realized was a sign of depression.

Sophie Turner Illness And Health Update Now
Sophie Turner seems to be okay right now. She stated that the Therapy had helped her.
With the help of treatment, Turner stated she felt “much better” after the Therapy. She said, “I’ve been going to Therapy at CAST Centers. I am on medication, and I love myself now, or more than I used to.”
A mother to daughter Willa, 22 months, with husband Joe Jonas, expects another child. Following her mental health issues, she recently decided to delete Instagram from her phone after realizing that social media made her anxious.
She stated that having it off her phone has helped her a lot. She only checks her social media for a few minutes once or twice a week, and this has made a huge difference, said the actress.
Judging from her social media, she is actively involved in other projects. Turner has previously appeared in the television film The Thirteenth Tale and made her feature film debut in Another Me. LIkewise, she also made her appearance in the action-comedy Barely Lethal. She portrayed a young Jean Grey / Phoenix in the X-Men film series.

She mentioned that social media was actually making her anxious, and therefore she distanced herself from the platform. Having been away from social media, she did not have to deal with comments about her body, but film and television studios asked her to lose weight.
This affected her in a way that her metabolism suddenly fell to the ocean’s depths, and she began to gain weight. All this occurred when she was filming for Game of Thrones in 2019. That’s when Turner opted for Therapy.
She also added, “Everyone needs a therapist, especially when people are constantly telling you you’re not good enough and don’t look good enough,” she said. “I think it is necessary to have someone to talk to and to help you through that.”
