Dr. David Mason Arrested: Md Methodist Dallas Assault Allegations

The charge was brought last week in David Mason’s hometown of Southlake, Texas. He is accused of attacking a family member, but it is unclear how the two are connected. He has not been charged with causing damage to the vehicle yet.

On a $2,000 bond, he was released. He risks up to a year in prison if convicted, as well as being obliged to report the incident to the Texas Medical Board.

Mason works at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, where he is a well-known lung transplant specialist.

David Mason, a well-known transplant surgeon in the Dallas area has been accused of beating a woman with a lacrosse stick and inflicting $10,000 in damage to a luxury vehicle.

Baylor Scott & White Health’s chief of thoracic surgery and lung transplantation is David Park Mason.

Mason “shoved” the athletic device into the woman’s face in April, according to police records acquired by the Dallas Morning News. He is also accused of stealing a 2006 Porsche and causing costly damage to it.

It is still unclear whether Mason’s luxurious car is registered to him or to the woman.
