ELLEN DeGeneres has shown she’s comfortable in her skin by flaunting her natural appearance in a new photo.
The former talk show host shared an unedited selfie on Instagram, donning no makeup, putting her wrinkles and imperfections on display.
Ellen, 66, captured the pic of her sitting inside a chicken coop with several chickens surrounding her.
She sported a gray hoodie and her usual pixie cut, with a neutral expression as she gazed off to the side.
The comedian joked in her caption, “#AccidentalChickenSelfie.”
Fans flooded the comments to praise the TV personality for openly showing off her natural looks and not turning to plastic surgery like others in the industry.
ELLEN’S TRUE LOOKS
“I actually look up to her, because she doesn’t care about getting a facelift, or trying to keep up with Hollywood! She’s just Ellen,” one person kindly wrote.
“Ellen, you look wonderful and I bet those chickens are the happiest chickens ever. You brought so much good to the world and deserve sunshine and happiness,” said another.
“You get props for not getting plastic surgery,” noted a third, and a fourth added, “Ain’t no way she’s 66 now.”
Ellen ended her widely popular talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, in May 2022, after a nearly 20-year run.
Two years before the show’s end, the comic received a considerable amount of backlash when employees and guests accused her of creating a toxic environment on set.
They said that the actress exhibited alarming behavior such as bullying, racism, and sexual harassment.
Ellen addressed the allegations a few months later during her monologue, claiming the show was “starting a new chapter” after making “necessary changes.”
Last month, the Finding Nemo star again spoke about the scandal during her stand-up show in Los Angeles, California.
She admitted the controversy was “devastating,” and she struggled to deal with the overwhelming backlash she received.
“I used to say that I didn’t care what other people thought of me, and I realized I said that at the height of my popularity,” Ellen told the audience, according to Rolling Stone.
I became this one-dimensional character who gave stuff away and danced up steps.

“It is such a waste of time to worry about what other people think,” the TV star continued. “Right now I’m hoping you’re thinking, ‘This is marvelous, I’m so happy to be here.’
“But you could be thinking, ‘Let’s see how this goes,'” she added.
Ellen then shared that she’s been wearing a lot of sweatpants and gardening since leaving her daytime TV gig.
“The ‘be kind’ girl wasn’t kind,” the former Ellen star confessed.
“I became this one-dimensional character who gave stuff away and danced up steps,” the Primetime Emmy Award winner joked.
“Do you know how hard it is to dance up steps? Would a mean person dance up steps? Had I ended my show by saying, ‘Go f**k yourself,’ people would’ve been pleasantly surprised.”
LIFE AFTER THE SHOW
Ellen went on, “There’s such extremes in this business, people either love you and idolize you or they hate you, and those people somehow are louder.”
She later confessed to the crowd, “It took a long time for me to want to do anything again.”
Since her show’s end, Ellen has been focusing on her comedy and numerous charities, while living a quieter life with her wife, Portia de Rossi, 51.
Kelly Clarkson and her talk show replaced Ellen for the weekdays at 3 p.m. slot on NBC.
