Eric Swalwell went to the Eagles – 49ers game and it’s actually quite funny

Regardless of how you feel about Rep. Eric Swalwell, you have to admit that this is pretty funny:

Looks like Swalwell went to Lincoln Financial Field to support the San Francisco 49ers in their match up against the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC Championship Game. He took a moment to post this selfie wearing a SF cap amidst a sea of Eagles green. It’s a good-natured, down-to-earth tweet that any sports fan can relate to.

Agreed. Sports are (or should be) one of the few things that can unite us as a people.

And, as always when Philadelphia sports teams are involved, there’s always someone who has to say something:

What are you implying here, sir? Because if this all goes back to that time that Philadelphia fans threw snowballs at Santa Claus, it’s important to note that it was not the REAL Santa Claus.

In the end, the Eagles beat the 49ers quite handily, and Swalwell had this to say:
