McDonald’s fans are able to get a Big Mac and Fries for less than half price every time they order by filling out a short survey.

The US chain is offering UK customers the meal for just £1.99, by answering questions about their experience on the Food For Thought website.

A Big Mac alone usually costs £3.29, while a small chips is 99p, meaning customers will make a saving of £2.29. 

To get the deal, keep your receipt and look at the bottom to find a 12-digit code.

You’ll need to enter this code on the Food for Thought website and fill out a quick survey about your meal.   

There’s no minimum spend as all receipts get a code.

Once the survey is complete you’ll be given a five digit code. Jot this down on the same receipt as your original receipt and it will act as your voucher.

You can use this in any McDonald’s branch.  

Other options include a Fillet-O-Fish, or Vegetable Deluxe instead, and you can also swap out the fries for salad.  

While you can fill out the survey as many times as you want, you can only get one Big Mac and Fries per order.

You must be aged 16 or over to fill out the receipt and you have 60 days to fill out the survey. 

It comes as My McDonald’s App users can grab a Filet-O-Fish for 99p as part of their McDonald’s Monday deals.

The deal is available exclusively on the app, so customers ordering via delivery websites won’t be able to use i. 

Restaurants are open for walk-in, takeaway, and customers can order via the Drive-thru, McDelivery and Click & Serve using the My McDonald’s App.

Vegetarians won’t miss out either and cheese lovers can wave goodbye to Mozzarella Dippers and say hello to the delicious Garlic Cheese Bites, which will be available in both a single portion of five for £1.89 – or a sharebox for £5.09.

Two new McFlurry flavours with Aero Chocolate and Aero Mint McFlurry will leave the menu to make way for the delicious Twix and Mars McFlurry to return.

Take your pick this summer with smooth dairy ice cream, swirled together with your choice of Mars or Twix chocolate pieces and a caramel sauce. 

Both will be available in Regular (£1.49) and Mini (99p) sizes.
