MANY huge stars have found themselves homeless or broke over the years.

Despite having had glowing careers in music, television or film – some stars have suffered troubling times that resulted in them going from glamorous lives to being homeless.

From a Hollywood actor found in a squat and a movie legend who slept in a cardboard box, The U.S. Sun is looking at some of the biggest stars who have run into bad luck.

Speaking to Oprah, Danny spoke about being famous and homeless at the same time – and how jarring that felt.

“I was still famous and people had no idea I lived behind the dumpster… I’d be taking pictures with people and signing autographs,” he said.

“So, I was homeless in Hollywood, which, by the way, is as good a place as any,” Danny went on.

He also said that it was “totally embarrassing” to be famous and homeless at the same time.

Danny since recovered and has co-hosted The Danny Bonaduce & Sarah Morning Show from 2011 until 2023.

Randy is known for starring in The Midnight Express and Of Mice And Men.

In 2010, Reuters reported the couple had been arrested for squatting.

“The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department said that Quaid and his wife Evi insisted they owned the house, but a representative for the home owner produced documents proving the house now belonged to his client,” they reported.
