COUNTRY music star Jelly Roll has encountered a very scary situation while heading to the Country Music Awards.
Jelly Roll’s private plane ride had an issue that forced the pilot to take action to ensure his and his wife’s safety.
Jelly’s wife, Bunnie XO, documented the terrifying incident in a TikTok post.
Bunnie divulged that the private jet she and Jelly were on had to “stop mid-air” and turn around for an “emergency landing.”
In the clip, she showed the pilot attempting to calm the plane’s passengers, including Jelly, Bunnie, and others.
Although what the pilot was saying exactly couldn’t really be heard in the video, it appeared that he was trying to assure plane riders not to be alarmed.
No one spoke as the pilot did his best not to make passengers panic.
The plane landed without issue, much to the passengers’ delight.
Bunnie talked to her husband while they were on the ground after they safely landed in a new video she filmed.
She had Jelly explain what happened in more detail, revealing that they had to turn the plane around because the plane’s computer system was malfunctioning.
” It was an issue with the computer,” Jelly specified.
Jelly joked that “at least it wasn’t the brakes.”
ALL IS WELL
Eventually, Jelly’s party was able to get back on the plane.
It seems that the group made it to Austin, Texas, for this year’s CMT Awards, where Jelly will perform on Sunday.
Jelly has also been nominated for three CMT awards.
Bunnie will also be by Jelly’s side on Sunday.
The couple have been married since 2016, after Jelly proposed to Bunnie on stage in Las Vegas, Nevada.
ROLLING IN SUCCESS
Jelly has seen much success in the music industry, especially when he did hip hop.
Jelly’s 2010 collaboration Pop Another Pill with Memphis rapper Lil Wyte reached over 6.3 million YouTube views.
The rapper has released numerous mixtapes, including Gamblin’ On A Whiteboy series and the Therapeutic Music series.
In October 2012, Jelly independently released a debut solo album.
The following year, Jelly’s mixtape Whiskey, Weed, And Women was originally named Whiskey, Weed, And Waffle House but was changed after the restaurant threatened legal action.
XXL listed Jelly’s song Come Here White Girl as “The Most Memorable White Rapper Collaboration” by XXL.
Switching genres, his country song Son of a Sinner, released in 2021, was part of his album Ballads Of The Broken.
It is regarded as one of his best songs ever released.
