Joji Yanami died at the age of 90.

Born as Shigemitsu Shirato on the August 30, 1931, Yanami was widely known for his voiceover in Dragon Ball Z, Cyborg 009, Moomin, Digimon, and so on.

The 5ft. 5-inches tall actor was present on the industry for 52 years and was affiliated with Aoni Productions.

Yanami was revealed to have taken a medical leave from Dragon Ball Super in 2015 for indefinite amount of time. That was the last time he ever dubbed for a character.
