Lucas Bravo was born on March 26, 1988, in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, to former footballer Daniel Bravo and singer Eva Bravo. Bravo attended Neuilly-sur-Lycée Seine’s Pasteur high school. Bravo said in a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel that he migrated to the United States when he was 18 years old. During the same interview, he mentioned borrowing money from a buddy for lunch while in Los Angeles. He said,
“I didn’t have anything, you know. Every day, I’d give a buddy one dollar to go to Taco Bell and have a cheesy double beef burrito for 99 cents. I was broke and happier than I’d ever been.”
Lucas Bravo made his acting debut in 2013 with the series Sous le soleil de Saint Tropez, in which he portrayed Jeff. He then played Antoine Mufla in Kim Chapiron’s La Crème de la crème. Bravo rose to worldwide prominence as Chef Gabriel in Netflix’s cult comedy series Emily in Paris. Viewers and journalists overwhelmingly praised him for his performance in the program. Lucas Bravo appeared in Anthony Fabian’s comedy-drama Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris earlier this year, opposite Leslie Manville and Isabelle Huppert. Plus belle la vie and TOC are among his other acting credits.
Lucas Bravo plays Paul, Julia Roberts’ lover, in the forthcoming George Clooney-Julia Roberts film Ticket to Paradise. Bravo discussed his experiences working with Roberts and Clooney in an interview with Collider. He said,

“I learnt that you can be an icon and one of the world’s biggest actors while still being the nicest guy, and it changes everything for me and gives me a lot of fuel.” There’s a lot of ego in this profession, and seeing that you can go this far while still keeping your inner kid intact and being a courteous, kind person means everything to me.”
Bravo is also expected to appear in the rom-com The Honeymoon, starring Pico Alexander and Maria Bakalova, in addition to Ticket to Paradise.
