Mariah Carey is nearing the end of her residency in Las Vegas, and her devoted fans are always there to cheer her on during her spectacular performances. However, after her most recent show, some fans voiced their concerns about the iconic singer’s health.

While performing at Dolby Live, where she delivered a medley of her greatest hits as part of her Celebration of Mimi series, viewers online noticed that her energy seemed lower than usual, sparking worries about her well-being.

“Is she in pain? What is happening?” one fan asked on Instagram. Another shared their concern, saying, “I’m a little worried about my Mimi,” while a third questioned, “Omg, is she okay?”

As her residency, which began in April 2024, approaches its conclusion, Mariah has been delivering an extensive setlist featuring over 25 songs from her remarkable career, complete with costume changes and choreography that can be quite taxing.

The worries about Mariah’s health were likely heightened after she had to cancel performances in December due to illness.

At the end of the year, she announced the cancellation of her ‘Christmas Time’ shows in Newark and New York City.

“Newark and Belmont — I wish I had better news, but unfortunately, I’m still sick and must cancel the shows tonight [Dec. 13] and on Sunday,” she shared at that time, adding, “I’m truly devastated about it and appreciate your support. Love, MC.”

The 55-year-old artist has been putting on incredible performances to mark the upcoming 20th anniversary of her hugely successful album, The Emancipation of Mimi, with the final show set for February 15.

After her residency wraps up, the singer will definitely deserve a well-earned break.

Besides her music career, Mariah is also a dedicated mother to her 13-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon.

Moroccan recently shared a video on social media reflecting on the family’s busy year as they neared the end of 2024.

“2024 was such a fun and wild year, and it’s amazing that we’ve all gotten through so many challenges; it’s been almost five years since COVID!” he said.

The family had a lively finish to 2024, as Mariah—often called the Queen of Christmas—kept up her festive performance schedule.

Moreover, the ‘Vision of Love’ singer reached a major milestone when her iconic Christmas hit, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” topped the Hot 100 for a record-breaking 17th week, surpassing her previous record.
