Jake Edwards didn’t find his happily ever after on Married At First Sight last year, in fact he was left in the depths of depression.
But almost one year after his time on the show, the 33-year-old AFL player is now living his best life, happy in love with girlfriend Clare Rankin.
The couple took to their respective Instagram accounts to share a loved-up photo revealing that they will be spending the next few days in Melbourne.

‘Ready for a week away in Melbourne with you,’ Clare posted alongside a smiling selfie with Jake.
‘Can’t wait babe. Be sure to tell Kudi [her dog] we will FaceTime him every day,’ he swiftly replied.
The couple, who have been dating since November 2021, appeared stronger than ever.

Jake has chosen to keep his private lives off social media following a very public breakup with his influencer ex.
Jake announced the news by sharing a gallery of loved-up photos and videos at a concert.
‘Never been happier. You have the biggest heart, you ground me, you’re smart, you’re beautiful and yes you’re funny,’ Jake captioned the post.

Jake went on to describe his new love as ‘perfect’ before thanking her for making him happy.
Since relocating to Queensland, Jake has been working in real estate.
