Mindy Kaling Reveals Incredible Weight Loss Journey in New Photos! Mindy Kaling seems to be looking more slender than ever after the secret birth of her third child a year ago.
The 45-year-old actress flaunted her impressive weight loss transformation in stunning new photos she shared on Instagram on Tuesday.
Mindy looked gorgeous in a sleeveless, halterneck black midi dress that highlighted her slim waist and toned shoulders.
The chic dress featured detailed gold buttons down the front, a floral design, a chunky black belt with gold accents, and a front slit that offered a peek at her slender legs.
Mindy’s fabulous look was in honor of a screening for the short film Anuja, which premiered on Netflix earlier this month.
In the caption accompanying a series of photos from the event, Mindy expressed her appreciation: “Thank you @netflix for hosting yesterday’s screening of @anujathefilm!
“8pm on a Monday was a quiet time in the Netflix LA offices, so I took the chance to explore the snack room – I was quite impressed. Mindy has continued her weight loss journey after losing 40 pounds in 2023, looking even slimmer after the birth of her daughter, Anne, in February 2024.
The Office star announced Anne’s arrival on her 45th birthday in June, sharing photos on Instagram that revealed her previously hidden pregnancy, along with pictures of her newborn daughter and her two other children, Katharine, seven, and Spencer, four.
In late February, Mindy joyfully announced the arrival of her daughter, Anne, calling her the most wonderful birthday gift she could have imagined.
Mindy’s physical transformation has garnered significant attention from her followers. While she finds the interest “flattering,” she admits it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming.
“I currently feel quite confident in my body, which is something I haven’t often been able to say throughout my life,” she told People. “I feel fantastic.
“I know many people are curious about my body and its changes. While I appreciate the compliments, there are times when it feels a bit much, so I try not to dwell on it too much. The truth is, I invest a lot of time and energy into my health.”
Mindy’s weight loss strategy includes running or hiking 20 miles each week, along with weightlifting sessions with her trainer.
“It takes a lot of commitment,” she admitted. “Balancing this with two kids means I often have to wake up very early to fit in my workouts.
“I pretty much live in athletic wear to make sure I can sneak in an extra mile,” she added. “I remind myself that I need to hit 20 miles a week, whether it’s through hiking or running, and this has been incredibly beneficial for me.”
