Oriyomi Hamzat’s arrest was made to a petition filed by the Chairman of Hilton Hotel and Resort.
Rahmon Adedoyin is currently on trial alongside six employees of his hotel, Hilton Hotels, for the alleged murder of Timothy Adegoke, a postgraduate student at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
According to SaharaReporters, the State Intelligence Bureau of the Nigeria Police, Eleyele, invited Hamzat to the office on Tuesday, May 24 at 11 a.m. in a letter dated Monday, May 23.
Hamza was apprehended and turned over to FIB authorities following his acceptance of the invitation, who took him to Abuja on Thursday morning.

Hamzat is under the custody of the FBI. The arrest accusations against Oriyomi Hamzat are exclusively for tampering with Timothy Adegoke’s murder case.
Rahmon, the MD of the Hilton hotel, and the other six staff members claimed to be conspirators in hiding and that they discovered Adegoke’s dead body in their hotel room.
The workers said that the MD instructed them to take an oath not to tell anybody about the occurrence since it would harm the hotel’s image.
He was also in charge of disposing the deceased corpse and instructing other employees to delete all of the victim’s data from the hotel reception.
