Rep. Anna Paulina Luna Alleges FBI Is Afraid Their Informant Will Be Killed if Unmasked


Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) posted a short but startling tweet Monday afternoon:

“Just left meeting for House Oversight. The @FBI is afraid their informant will be killed if unmasked, based on the info he has brought forward about the Biden family,” she wrote.

An hour and a half later, she dropped another tweet:

“According to the @FBI, Biden as VP was involved in a 5 million dollar bribery scheme with a foreign national,” she wrote in this one.

RedState has previously reported that an FBI informant provided information about then-vice president Biden being involved in a criminal bribery scheme. FBI Director Chris Wray has repeatedly declined to provide a form known as an FD-1023 that would shed more light on the allegations. As our own Bonchie wrote, House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) said Monday after meeting with the FBI:

FBI officials confirmed that the unclassified, FBI-generated record has not be disproven and is currently being used in an ongoing investigation. The confidential human source who provided information about then-vice president Biden being involved in a criminal bribery scheme is a trusted, highly-credible informant who has been used by the FBI for over 10 years and has been paid over six figures.

Comer is not happy with Wray’s refusal to cooperate with the committee and will initiate contempt charges Thursday.

Appearing on “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo” this weekend, Luna had plenty to say about the apparent corruption in the White House:

You know, over the last couple of months, House Oversight as well as the staff that helps us run the investigations has proven that we’ve actually been able to provide evidence. You know, before there were speculation on the Ponzi scheme for influence peddling and also the personal enrichment of the Biden family. And now what we’re finding is that these are no longer allegations and we’re creating a hard case.

In my opinion, Maria, what we’re seeing right now, if this is true, which I do believe that it is true, in regards to Joe Biden receiving briberies and Hunter Biden, I do believe that this is grounds for impeachment. And so it’s important that we continue to move forward to bring this to the American people, but also to that we I think, do a housecleaning within our DOJ because as you had stated earlier, they are protecting this family, the FBI is protecting the Hunter Biden family, and it’s not okay.

Former President Donald Trump was hounded by the Department of Justice and Democrats in Congress for years based on thin evidence which almost all turned out to be based on falsehoods and incorrect assumptions. Here, there appears to be highly credible information that the DOJ and the FBI are trying to keep concealed as they try to protect Biden.

If Luna is correct that the FBI claims it fears for the safety of the informant, it sounds like another attempt at an excuse by Wray as to why they won’t produce the information that Comer demands. It also begs another question—who are they afraid would assassinate the informant, and why are they not chasing down those threats? And shouldn’t the justice department of the most powerful nation on earth be able to protect witnesses?
