  3. Alongside Don Cheadle, Joaquin Phoenix, and Nick Nolte, Sophie Okonedo co-starred portraying the character of Tatiana Rusesabagina in the 2004 drama film Hotel Rwanda. For this role, Sophie won the Black Reel Award for “Best Actress-Drama” as well as got nominated for an Academy Award for “Best Supporting Actress”, NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture”, and Screen Actors Guild Award for “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role”.
