Tom Hopper is a well-known British actor who has been in programs such as Game of Thrones and The Umbrella Academy. According to Leicestershire Live, Hopper grew interested in performing in high school and subsequently participated in a theater class. Hopper has featured in a number of television shows and films, including Saxon, Casualty, Kingdom, and Doctors. In 2010, he had his first significant appearance in an episode of the British television series Doctor Who. He also featured for two seasons as Sir Percival in the BBC series Merlin.
Following a string of roles, Hopper played Abjorn in the mythological drama Northmen: A Viking Saga. He went on to play Billy Bones in the Starz series Black Sails. Black Sails is a pirate drama that acts as a prelude to Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island.
