Trinity Shockley an 18-year-old high school teenager was arrested at Mooresville High School in Mooresville, Indiana, on Tuesday by Indiana police for her alleged plan to carry out a mass shooting at Mooresville High School on Valentine’s Day.
The plot, which she had reportedly been planning for over a year, was stopped after an anonymous tip led to an investigation. Thanks to the tipster the whole horror was possibly prevented due to the tip.

Investigators say Shockley carefully planned the attack, taking inspiration from past school shooters like Nikolas Cruz, who was behind the 2018 Parkland school shooting. She had written detailed notes about her intentions and expressed admiration for other mass shooters, including those involved in the 1999 Columbine massacre.
She expressed a s**ual attraction to Cruz, wore a locket with his photo, and wrote about wanting to have children with him.
Police also found online messages showing her interest in school shootings. After receiving the anonymous tip through the FBI, the state police searched her home and found AR-15 magazines, a bulletproof vest, and notebooks with violent writings (e.g., “DIE DIE DIE,” swastikas), she was arrested immediately. Her father owned firearms, but no AR-15 was found in the house.

In 2022, when she was 16, she was hit by a drunk driver while waiting for her school bus. The accident caused serious injuries, including a fractured skull, a brain bleed, and broken bones. Her family started a GoFundMe to help with her recovery.
