WENDY Williams ordered her guardian to “get off my neck” in furious The View call as she fights to be released from a New York City senior living facility.

In her pre-taped phone call appearance on Friday, Wendy, 60, told her fellow daytime tv colleagues she wants out of her restrictive guardianship under Sabrina Morrissey.

Wendy said in her interview “I am a college educated woman. I’m a global, international person from radio to television.

“I’ve, I’ve got been doing Important things all of my life, you know, and these two people don’t look like me, they don’t dress like me, they don’t talk like me, they don’t act like me.

“And I bet you to say they will never be me. I need them to get off my neck!”

An upset Wendy continued to The View ladies, “I can’t do it with these two people again. I can’t, and I’m speaking of the guardian and the judge.

“I need a new guardian. And by the way, it’s because I need a new guardian, and then I’ll get out of guardian.”

In her interview, Wendy, who has in the past admitted to problems with drinking, claimed she has been sober, and appeared to indicate that she had a drink on her 60th birthday in July.

Wendy was moved into the senior living facility in July, as she had presumably just become a senior on her birthday, July 18.

The former Wendy Williams Show host told her View friends “I’ve had my devices (sic) and I have to tell you something, I am easily going on with my life, alcohol free, for the rest of my life.”

“But I must admit to you that when I got from Connecticut [where Wendy claimed her previous living facility was] to New York, it was my birthday. You know, July 18, and yes, I celebrated, you know what I’m saying.

“But no more, no more alcohol, thank you,” she added.

As The U.S. Sun previously reported, Wendy had been diagnosed with alcohol-related brain damage during a rehab stint in 2019.

EMERGENCY PETITION TO MOVE WENDY

Earlier this week, Wendy’s attorney filed an emergency petition to try to remove the star from the senior facility she has been living in.

Wendy Williams Alcohol-Related Brain Damage, Aphasia & Frontotemporal Dementia Diagnoses

By The U.S. Sun’s Senior Reporter Jessica Finn, who has reported on Wendy Williams for the past seven years.

As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, Wendy Williams was diagnosed with alcohol-related brain damage in 2019 during a rehab stint in Florida.

An insider explained that a brain scan was done as part of Wendy’s rehab stay in Delray Beach.

A neurologist sat down with the star, her son, and her then-husband, Kevin Hunter Sr.

“The doctor explained to them that Wendy was suffering from alcohol-related brain damage.

“They told her that her alcohol abuse had done permanent damage to the layers in her brain,” the insider said.

“She was warned then and there that if she continued to drink, the damage would only get worse.”

In that meeting, they gave Wendy a devastating prognosis.

The doctors at the rehab foretold of the eventual decline of Wendy’s cognitive abilities, which have become apparent to those who have come in contact with the star in recent years.

“They told her that if she kept drinking she would continue to grow more forgetful, that she wouldn’t remember people’s names, and eventually, she could forget who people even were,” the source said.

After a comment call was sent to Wendy’s team, they released a statement saying Wendy had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia in 2023.

“The decision to share this news was difficult and made after careful consideration, not only to advocate for understanding and compassion for Wendy, but to raise awareness about aphasia and frontotemporal dementia and support the thousands of others facing similar circumstances,” the statement read.

Sources close to Wendy exclusively told The U.S. Sun that the former talk show host spent several days this week at a local hospital following a welfare check conducted by the NYPD.

According to an insider, the emergency request filed on Tuesday aims to relocate Wendy to “less restrictive alternative housing.”

Wendy has been vocal about her dissatisfaction with the senior living facility she currently resides in, calling it a “luxury prison.”

The iconic TV host has specifically criticized the memory care unit where she is staying, describing it as a locked floor that restricts her from leaving.

EFFORTS TO END THE GUARDIANSHIP

As previously reported by The U.S. Sun, Wendy’s guardianship attorney has officially filed a petition to terminate the restrictive legal arrangement.

This filing appears to contradict a recent legal document submitted by her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, in connection to the Lifetime case surrounding the “Where Is Wendy Williams?” documentary.

However, that document concluded with a foreboding statement: “The Guardian has no intention of pursuing litigation in the highly unlikely event that the new medical examination determines that W.W.H. now has the mental capacity to manage the A&E matter.”

Wendy’s hugely successful daytime talk show came to an end in 2022 after personal challenges prevented her from hosting the entire final season.
