WH Faceplants With Horrible Response on Busing Illegal Aliens
We’ve seen a lot of bad policy from Joe Biden and the White House over the past two and a half years when it comes to the border.
Biden has been an unmitigated disaster since he came in and ripped out everything that was working under Trump because Trump had done it, making everything so much worse in the process.
Towns and states at the border have been overwhelmed by the unprecedented influx under Biden and have been pleading for help as thousands of illegal aliens have flooded in. Yet, the administration didn’t seem to give a darn about their concerns. So to highlight the problem, some of them like Texas Gov. Greg Abbott bused people to sanctuary cities like New York City and Washington D.C. Then suddenly, the Democrats were concerned. Then suddenly, that busing was “bad,” even though they claimed to be “sanctuary cities.”
There have been some bad answers on the subject in the past, but White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre truly faceplanted on the answer she gave Monday about such busing of illegal aliens to other cities. She said that busing illegals from the border to other cities is “dangerous and unacceptable” because you were putting their lives at risk. Then she said something that had a lot of people thinking, “does she even listen to herself?”

The other reason you shouldn’t bus the illegal aliens to other cities is “because you’re actually putting a lot of pressure on these states and local areas.”
Um, Karine? What about all the pressure that you are putting on the states and local areas in places like Texas when you bus the illegals and just drop them in the streets of El Paso? What about the fact that none of the border cities or the other cities would have to deal with such “pressure” if the Biden team would just fix the problems at the border?
But perhaps the biggest question for Jean-Pierre: if it’s “dangerous and unacceptable” to bus illegal aliens to other places, why is it cool when the Biden administration does it, as they have in the past, busing and flying illegals all over the country, sometimes in the middle of the night? We noted for example their night flights to Florida and to New York.
The White House is only upset now because the illegal aliens are being sent to Democratic sanctuary cities, like New York City and D.C. So what are you telling us by that reaction? That being a “sanctuary city” was never supposed to truly mean what they said. That it was supposed to be empty virtue signaling? But when called on it, New York and D.C. just can’t deal with it?
What the White House is saying by this reaction is we only care about how this hurts Democratic areas, otherwise, you states like Texas, we don’t give a darn. Hopefully, all the citizens of the border states remember this when it comes to voting in 2024, because this is how they treat you when they think you are second class and less important than those deep blue areas.
