                                      Antonio Brown Biography

Who is Antonio Brown?

Antonio Tavaris Brown Sr. (born July 10, 1988) is an American football wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). Raised in Liberty City, Miami, Brown attended Miami Norland High School. He played college football at Central Michigan University, where he earned All-American honors in 2008 and 2009 as a kick returner. A sixth-round pick for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brown racked up more receptions than any other player in the league since his rookie season from 2010 to 2018.

Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown likes to blame others for creating drama, but he’s still very good at it himself.

Brown was seen running into the locker room without a shirt or shoulder pads as the Bucs drove in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Jets. The Bucs were not penalized even though Brown was on the field gesturing to the crowd in the end zone while the Bucs had the ball.

According to the CBS broadcast, Brown was upset on the bench and took off his team despite pleas from his teammates to stay with the team. He threw his shirt and gloves at the fans before deciding to make an outing.

There has been no word from the Bucs on what is going on. They were able to drive for a touchdown after Brown’s antics and are now trailing the Jets 24-17 with 29 seconds left in the third quarter.

Early life

Brown is the son of retired Arena Football League “Touchdown” star Eddie Brown, who was named the best player in league history in 2006.  Eddie Brown played wide receiver for the Albany Firebirds and as a footballer. Collegiate for Louisiana Tech.

College career

Brown began attending Central Michigan in 2007 after wide receiver coach Zach Azzanni told him he could fly to Michigan and try out for the team as a wide receiver.  The transition from quarterback position in high school to wide receiver in college was not that difficult for him, and after a few weeks, Central Michigan coaches offered him a scholarship. Brown had a hard time adjusting to the college lifestyle and getting to meetings and practice on time. Azzanni and his wife helped him settle down and adopt an established routine, and he soon became part of his family. He made his college debut against Kansas on September 1. He had four receptions for 23 yards in a 52-7 loss.  In the following week’s game against Toledo, he had nine receptions for 105 receiving yards and his first collegiate touchdown, a six-yard pass from Dan LeFevour, in a 52-31 victory.
