Rave made his Ring of Honor debut in 2003. He then joined The Embassy, a stable led by Prince Nana, and was dubbed “The Crown Jewel of the Embassy.” Rave and Alex Shelley of The Embassy assaulted ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson following a successful title defense on January 14, 2006, in Philadelphia. On February 21, 2011, Dragon Gate USA announced that Rave would make his promotion debut April 1, 2011, in Burlington, North Carolina. Rave made his Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment (AWE) debut on June 22, 2014, defeating Drew Adler. Rave competed in a 12-man tournament for the Georgia Wrestling Crown title. He won his first three-way match against Kyle Matthews and Sugar Dunkerton, then went on to defeat Raphael King in the semifinals and Chip Day in the finals to win the tournament and become the inaugural GWC Champion.
