Who is Peyton Moyer ?
A 20-year-old Georgia man was arrested for allegedly gunning down his mother and stepfather at the family home early Tuesday morning, authorities said.
Peyton Moyer allegedly carried out the deadly attack while her two younger sisters, 16 and 4, were at her Watkinsville home before fleeing in one of the victim’s cars, Fox News reported.
The bodies of Moyer’s mother, Ashley Schultz, 41, and her stepfather, Benjamin Smith, 54, were found inside the home by responding officers, Oconee County Sheriff James Hale said, in the middle.
Suspect
Later, police located the suspect and captured him after a brief manhunt, the sheriff’s office said.
Moyer was charged with two counts of murder and one count of cruelty to children, according to the report.
Investigators have not released information on a possible motive.

Arrested and Charged
A Georgia man shot and killed his mother and stepfather before leading police on a brief chase ending in his arrest, officials said.
Agents said they believe 20-year-old Peyton Moyer killed the two and then fled in a family vehicle. Moyer was found in Athens and arrested after fleeing Athens-Clarke County Police when other officers deployed a tire deflation device, Athens-Clarke Lt. Shaun Barnett said.
Wasdin said officers are investigating why Moyer shot the two.
Moyer is being held in the Oconee County Jail without bond, charged with two counts of murder and one count of cruelty in the first degree to children. It is unclear if Moyer has seen a judge or has a lawyer.
