The 38-year-old mother, who had escaped the scene but was arrested following a manhunt, was apprehended on the same day. In the case of the shootout, there have been some new developments.
Who Is Trinh Nguyen’s Ex-Husband Ed Tini?
Ed Tini is the estranged ex-husband of Trinh Nguyen. They were married in the year 2015, but ultimately got separated after Trinh had filed for divorce. Tini is the biological father of Nguyen’s younger son.
Nguyen had failed to pay around $11,000 rent after divorcing Ed Tini last year.
According to the Bucks County DA Matt Weintraub, Nguyen had tried to give a box of photos to Gianni Melchiondo, who happens to be the nephew of her ex-husband. When Melchiondo had taken the photos, she had pulled out a revolver pulling the trigger twice at him. After this, Nguyen escaped the scene in her minivan.

Trinh Nguyen had gunned down her two young sons on Monday, May 3, 2022. The authorities had found the boys shot in their heads inside their Upper Makefield Township home.
She had escaped the area for hours until the police found her and took her into custody. According to sources, Nguyen herself had consumed narcotics in a botched attempt to commit suicide before the incident.

As per the news, Nguyen was facing a deadline for rent. She had a dispute over more than $11,000 in back rent for months.
On April 18, 2022, the judges issued an order to move of the home she shared with her kids. The home they were living in was a part of a duplex shared with the other members of the Melchiondo family.
The Police are still investigating the matter. They have not commented on the motive behind the shooting. The DA has said: “We have some very strong leads on motive, but I think it would be premature and unfair of me to comment on motive right now,”
Trinh Nguyen Sits Behind Bars, Her Sons Nelson and JT Tini Remain On Life Support
The alleged mother, Trinh Nguyen has been arrested facing attempted murder charges. She was detained by the police a few hours later at the Washington Crossing United Methodist Church on the 1800 block of Wrightstown Road.
Meanwhile, her sons Jeffrey “JT” Tini, 13, and Nelson Tini, 9, remain on life support. As reported in the Courier-Times, at least one of the boys had undergone surgery at St. Mary Medical Center. The authorities had not reported any change in their condition since then. There is a very less chance of their survival.

Charges on Trinh Nguyen are expected to be upgraded to homicide if her sons were not expected to survive.
