Who is Tyler Lamar Jenkins?
Tyler Lamar Jenkins, 26, was charged with second-degree murder in Friday’s fatal shooting of 28-year-old Timothy Paul Talley III in Virginia Beach. His wife, whose name has not been identified, was uninjured.
She told police that she ‘feared for her life’ when Jenkins entered the bedroom where she was ‘engaged in a s*xual act’ with her lover, who was a fellow aviation engineer in the Marine.
This led to her husband shooting Talley almost immediately, court documents seen by the state of Virginian-Pilot.
Shooting Death
Talley, who is originally from California, was struck three times in the ‘household-related shooting death’ just before 10 p.m., and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jenkins was arrested at his home in the 4800 block of Crystalline Place in Virginia Beach when police showed up summoned by his wife.

‘What am I doing wrong?’ Jenkins is said to have asked as police led him away, explaining that someone had been having s*x with his wife at his home.
Jenkins admitted to shooting and police found the gun he used in the house.
Investigators have not released an official motive for the shooting, nor is it clear if the two men knew each other. It is not clear if Jenkins’ wife is also in the Navy.
Jenkins had been serving in the Navy since 2014. He was arraigned Monday and is being held without bail and will appear in court on May 12.
