New York police have made an arrest in a 26-year-old murder case that took place in Morris Heights.
An NYPD spokesman said: “On February 5, 1996, police responded to a call for an unconscious female inside 1706 Davidson Avenue in the 46th Precinct boundaries. Upon arrival, police discovered an unconscious 36-year-old woman with neck trauma. The medical examiner ruled her death a homicide.”

They said the victim was identified as Jasmine Porter of 1706 Davidson Avenue, Bronx, NY.
On August 8 [2022] Gregory Fleetwood, 66, of 3507 Laconia Avenue in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx was arrested and charged with murder in connection with the case.
