There are many reasons why you may feel sluggish all day, even if you are getting enough sleep. It could be a condition called chronic fatigue syndrome.

But it can also mean something less serious, which can easily be avoided by adopting healthier habits. For example, change your diet or just drink more water.

We don’t want to look like zombies all the time, so we’re happy to know that there are simple steps we can take to avoid it!

Why Am I Always Tired And Have No Energy

6. You Aren’t Eating Properly

Refined carbohydrates can be a quick source of energy. When you eat something like breakfast cereals, cookies, pasta, or pizza, the refined carbohydrates they contain increase your blood sugar level and you feel more energetic.

However, when your blood sugar levels drop, you will start to feel tired again. And if you continue to eat foods that contain refined carbohydrates, you will end up feeling tired all day.

Try to eat less sugar and processed carbohydrates and replace them with high-fiber foods like oatmeal, lentils, and vegetables.

5. You Aren’t Active Enough

You may think that if you come home tired after work, lying on the couch can help you save energy and make you feel a little more energetic.

It is important to get at least some exercise a few times a week, and this will help you feel less tired all the time.

A 2008 study showed that young adults who did just 20 minutes of low-intensity exercise 3 times a week had higher energy levels and lower levels of fatigue.

4. You Aren’t Getting Enough Quality Sleep

You may feel tired even after sleeping the recommended 7-9 hours a night. This is because the quality of your sleep is just as important as how long you sleep. Try to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day.

Also, don’t drink coffee at the end of the day and don’t waste your time before sleeping on the phone or watching TV. This will help improve the quality of your sleep, and you may not feel as tired during the day.

3. You Aren’t Drinking Enough Water

If you don’t replace the water that your body loses as a result of your biochemical reactions, you will become dehydrated. This can lead to lower energy levels and make it difficult to concentrate.

One study showed that men who drank water to make up for what they lost while exercising on a treadmill felt less tired than when they did not drink water.

2. You’re Stressed

Research has shown that high levels of stress can cause fatigue. Additionally, one study found that avoiding stress can lead to higher levels of fatigue. Yoga and meditation can help you relieve it.

1. You May Need More Vitamins

There may not be enough iron, vitamin D, or vitamin B12 in your diet either. Some of the foods rich in iron are spinach, broccoli, red meat, and turkey.

B12 can be found in milk, eggs, salmon, and beef, or you can take it as a supplement.

To get more vitamin D, eat more mushrooms, fatty fish, and shellfish. Also, try to spend more time in the sun.

Have you ever felt tired, even after getting enough sleep? Why do you think this happens in your case?
