Isabelle Weidemann Family: Who Are Her Parents And Siblings? – Isabelle Weidemann is a Canadian long-track speed skater who is the daughter of Laurel Rockwell and John Weidemann.
At the age of 12, Isabelle Weidemann followed in the footsteps of a family friend and switched from downhill skiing to speed skating as her winter sport.
Isabelle took the podium following each of her four national championship events. She finished second in the 3,000-meter run, tied with Brianne Tutt of Airdrie, Alta.
She rebounded the next day, however, by defending her 5,000-meter title in 7:13.28.
She also qualified for her second consecutive global senior single-distance championships, which were held at the 2018 Winter Olympic oval in Gangneung, South Korea.
Isabelle Weidemann Family: Who Are Her Parents And Siblings?
Isabelle Weidemann has a happy family consisting of her Father John Weidemann, Mother Laurel Rockwell, Brother Jake, and sister Lily.
Isabelle always celebrates festivals with her loved ones but it was difficult for her to be apart last year. She has made a lot of sacrifices because of the competition.
She is lucky to have such a supportive family who flew to Calgary to celebrate Christmas with her.
Isabelle, her brother Jake, and sister Lily, for their part, offered their parents a unique gift in return: they all competed in Canada’s national finals.
Having been born in kin where most of the people are athletes, she got a chance to improve from an early age which worked as an advantage for her.
