Ryan Libbey shared a post to Instagram on Monday, giving fans an update on his 16-week-old son Leo-Hunter.

The star’s post comes as fiancée, Louise Thompson, also 31, recently shared about hitting ‘rock bottom’ – following her ongoing battle with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression.

In the post, Ryan detailed how he is coping with the beginning of Leo’s teething, writing: ‘I have never seen Leo cry so hard for so long, and I’ve been assured by professionals that it’s because he is teething (he’s healthy otherwise thank god)’

‘But it’s horrific to see your little baby in so much discomfort, and when you’re so new to parenting like we are, it’s so distressing and you feel incredibly helpless.’

The Personal Trainer also shared his tips for any new parents who are struggling with their infant’s teething, suggesting gels, granules, toys and medicines.

He continued: ‘Best wishes to any new parents who are going through this stage and also to any parents to be. Parenting is hard, and right now it seems just as you clear one hurdle another comes.’

‘He’s still cute and I still love him. But I’m gonna get him back for this when he’s much older to wrestle with his daddy.’

Ryan also took to his story, as he shared his struggle with Leo’s restlessness, writing: ‘I don’t know what else to say at this point but s**t.’

It comes as Louise shared a post earlier this week about hitting ‘rock bottom’ following the traumatic birth of Leo in November, which left her in traumatic care for five weeks.

Louise has since been diagnosed with severe anxiety, admitting in the candid post: ‘Something happened about a month ago where my mind and body came crashing down in tandem.’

‘I guess I had been in self preservation mode/survival mode up until that point. Then the real mental health hell began’

She continued: ⁣’Honestly I’ve been at a level of rock bottom that I never knew existed. I never understood suffering or suicide before.⁣⁣’

Louise also spoke about how she was struggling with PTSD and explained how her ‘road to recovery won’t be linear’ as she noted the highs and lows she has been experiencing.
