Cristina Bayardelle Cawthorn, US Rep Madison Cawthorn’s wife, and their divorce news is circulating on media for a long time now. The couple decided to end their marriage within a year of their wedding.

Bayardelle told FOX46 News that she and Cawthorn had an “incredible journey together” and that they still had a “great friendship.”

Cawthorn, 26, said in a statement tweeted that he and his wife had “irreconcilable differences. He explained the reason for his separation to be his new political career.

Cawthorn stated, “I was not a member of Congress when Cristina and I got engaged. I felt compelled to serve, and we both agreed that I should do so.  “The statement continues, “Our victory was unexpected, but it changed our lives overnight.

That transition has been both hectic and challenging. It’s neither the pace nor the way of life we had envisioned.”

Cawthorn mentioned that he and Bayardelle, 28, were “committed to making things work” balancing the enormity of such a life transition.”

But they soon realize that they couldn’t achieve balance and had irreconcilable differences.

“Cristina and I have mutually decided to divorce, despite the fact that it was a difficult decision “Cawthorn’s statement went on.
