According to a press release from the City of Daytona Beach, police officers received a 911 call shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday from a witness who reported the Aultman pair lined with blood mendacity unknowingly in a meadow near the curb.

Detectives were able to collect a clip of security film that had information about the incident. The video footage was released on Tuesday, and it shows a “guy of unknown race” walking around the area wearing light-colored denims, purple gloves, a grey tank-top, work boots with a rucksack, and a darkish Boonie-style hat.

Suspect Jean R. Macean has been arrested in Daytona Beach.

The suspect in the murder of a married couple last weekend has been arrested, according to Daytona Beach police. Jean Robert Maceran, 32, was arrested at around 11 a.m. on Thursday from his home on Pointe Vista Circle in Orlando.

“Macean was brought into custody with the cooperation of US Marshalls, the Orlando Police Department, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office,” Young states on his Twitter account.

I’m pleased to report that we have now apprehended the person responsible for the killings of Brenda and Terry Aultman.

Macean arrived in Dayton Beach on a public bus on Saturday during Bike Week and left on Sunday, according to Young, who spoke at a press conference on Thursday evening.

Jean R. Macean is currently incarcerated after being charged with the homicide of Terry and Brenda Aultman, a married couple.

According to police, Jean R. Macean was charged with two counts of first-degree homicide in the pair’s deaths. According to the investigating cops, the victims were riding their bicycles home from Main Streek when they were attacked.

The DNA from the victim’s fingernails was retrieved from the site while investigating the crime. “The suspect Jean R. Macean is now in jail for these horrible killings,” Chief Young said.
