Joe Biden is in Brussels for a NATO meeting to discuss the Russian war against Ukraine. I wrote earlier about how he lost it during a press conference, when he snapped at a reporter about sanctions, scrambled what he was trying to say about food shortages, and very unwisely revealed what sounded like some critical information about where he might be going. It’s an embarrassing thing to have Biden representing America on the world stage, when he does things like that.
Biden also revealed something that we’ve seen on other occasions: he doesn’t like being challenged. And when he has been challenged in the past, he tends to lose it on the reporter, the voter, or the “dog-faced pony soldier” who attempts to question him.
Biden said the quiet part out loud when he was talking about the EU president Charles Michel, who was just reappointed president without any opposition.
BIDEN: “I came to congratulate a man who just got re-elected — without opposition! I dream about that some day.”
Now imagine if Trump said that. pic.twitter.com/6wptCsKYq0

“I came to congratulate a man who just got re-elected without opposition. I dream of that someday!” Biden declared as he greeted Michel. AS RNC Research notes, imagine if President Donald Trump had said that? We’d be having 24/7, CNN coverage about what a fascist he is, and how this is a danger to democracy that we must address with yet another, waste of time impeachment to try to incapacitate him.
Jim Acosta and Brian Stelter would be having conniptions if Trump said this. Maddow would be in hysterics. Don Lemon would need a hospital. https://t.co/bmzF4qh71N

Also, imagine saying this at this particular time in Europe, when they’re having to deal with Putin invading a neighbor. Not the time to be talking about being authoritarian.
But when they say things like this, they’re revealing who they are — and we do well to believe them. No wonder he’s always talking about Xi Jinping; he really would like to be ‘unopposed’ like a dictator.
We’ve already seen how Biden believes he can operate by mandate and executive order. His people don’t even like for him to take questions, as we’ve previously reported, unless it’s in a controlled setting. They’re always constantly chasing away reporters, as they did again Thursday.

Of course, in a certain way, Biden is right. Given what we’ve seen of him and the mess he’s made of everything in such a short time, the only way he could win would be if no one else ran – if he had no opposition. Because at this point, the Republicans could probably put up anyone, and they’d beat this guy if the vote were taken right now, all things being equal. The polls show Trump beating him because Americans remember the good times under Trump, before everything fell apart.
Biden is letting some things out of the bag. He’s warning of the coming food shortages and even the “new world order,” which he thinks that he will lead. He couldn’t even lead his way out of a paper bag. If he thinks any of this is going to make him a more attractive candidate, he’s got another thing coming. But unfortunately, things in the near future are going to get worse — until the Republicans get control of Congress and can throw more checks and balances into him.
