Britney Spears’ fame tends to eclipse everyone around her but her fiancé, Sam Asghari, is quietly making a name for himself on his own merits.

The 28-year-old Iranian born hunk – who has been focusing recently on acting gigs – opened up about their recent miscarriage in a new interview with GQ, released on Wednesday.

Asghari was, at first, hesitant to discuss the private loss but went on so say that he and Britney, 40, are finding the ‘positive’ in the tragedy and are confident: ‘when the baby’s ready, it’ll come’.

Not long after announcing her recent pregnancy on social media, Sam and Britney released a joint statement with the sad news that the star had miscarried.

‘We’re positive about it. It’s something that happens to a lot of people,’ Sam reflected to GQ. ‘And one beautiful thing that I heard was when the baby’s ready, it’ll come. So that was a beautiful thing somebody had said was, it’s a common process and the female body is just so amazing, and just the human body in general is so beautiful that it heals itself. And that when the baby’s ready it’ll be the right time.’

The burgeoning actor also said that he had always wanted to be a ‘young father’ and that children were the ‘next step’ calling procreation ‘the joy of life.’

His sentiments echo an earlier statement that the fitness professional made on social media thanking Britney’s fans for supporting them during their time of need.

'We're positive about it. It's something that happens to a lot of people,' Sam reflected to GQ. 'And one beautiful thing that I heard was when the baby's ready, it'll come.'

‘We have felt your support,’ Sam said at the time. ‘We are taking things positively and moving forward with our future. It’s hard but we are not alone. Thank you for respecting our privacy. We will be expanding our family soon.’

The singer first announced that she was expecting her first child with Asghari in April in a social media post saying she had thought she gained a food baby while on vacation but took a test and it turned out she was pregnant.

A short while later, the couple announced in a joint statement that they had experienced a pregnancy loss.

‘It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,’ the couple said Saturday. ‘This is a devastating time for any parent.

‘Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult time.’

The baby news came after months of emotional turmoil for Spears who was finally released from her conservatorship after 13 years and a long fought battle.

In the midst of the #FreeBritney movement, Sam popped the question to the Toxic singer and received and enthusiastic yes.

‘I figured with her taste, she wouldn’t want something super big and super celebrity. Celebrities get that million dollar ring. And usually, it’s free because it’s for promotion, but I want it to represent something,’ he told GQ of choosing her engagement ring.

‘I want it to come from my heart and I want it to go to someone that wasn’t a big jeweler. It was a big company but it was a company that was willing to do it the way that I wanted it. ‘

‘It’s a princess cut, for a real life princess,’ he continued, adding: ‘I didn’t tell anybody to be honest with you. I didn’t want anybody to know and anybody to interfere in any way whatsoever so it was between me and her.’

Sam said what first attracted him to the Pop Princess, when they met on the set of a music video, was her ‘humbleness.’

He also gushed about Britney’s ‘cat-like reflexes,’ and how competitive she is when they play tennis, ping pong and basketball.

Asghari described their lives as pretty normal, all things considered. He explained that he doesn’t have any interest in taking advantage of his soon-to-be wife’s considerable fame and wealth, sharing that they ‘trade off’ on who pays for dinner.

‘We do travel a lot and I am dating a girl that’s very expensive, she has an expensive taste but I do try to incorporate my lifestyle to her as well, and if it was up to me, we would cut down on the traveling and stay at a much cheaper hotel, and we would probably live off of $60 a day,’ he said.

Britney recently admitted that she’s been ‘going through something,’ following the news of her devastating miscarriage, a month after she first revealed she was pregnant.

‘I’m definitely going through something in my life at the moment,’ Britney began her post, which featured a video of her dancing. ‘And music helps me so much just to gain insight and perspective.’
