Who is amie Barlow ?
Three teenagers and a man were charged after allegedly stabbing a father to death and setting his home on fire as they fled the scene.
Jaime Barlow, 48, was allegedly ambushed at his home in Laidley, southeast Queensland, on Monday night in what police suspect was a targeted attack.
Emergency crews were called around 9:50 p.m. m. and they found Mr. Barlow with more than six stab wounds.
He died 15 minutes later in the arms of his partner, despite the efforts of paramedics.
Witnesses told police they saw four youths flee the scene with detectives lunging at two 19-year-old Laidley women, a 19-year-old Caboolture man and a 24-year-old College View man Tuesday night. night.
Arrested and Charged

The Caboolture man appeared briefly at Caboolture Magistrates Court on Wednesday, while the remaining three are due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court.

Acting Superintendent of Detectives and Regional Crime Coordinator for the Southern Region Garry Watts said police worked continuously to make the arrests.
“We had detectives working all the time from Monday night,” he told reporters Wednesday.

Barlow’s partner, Stacey Vale, is assisting the police, but she is not considered a suspect.
She took to Facebook on Wednesday to mourn the loss of her.
“I was there when this all happened,” she wrote Wednesday.
“I loved Jamie and I will miss him. He hurts me a lot.
Barlow’s mother, Debra, spoke with her son just a day before Sunday’s attack.
‘I am in shock. I can’t believe it happened, I can’t believe the way it happened,” she told Nine News.

Attack
She recalled the devastating phone call from her son’s partner to say he had died.
‘She said, “his body is lying on the lawn, there’s a sheet on it, there’s no one around”,’ Ms Barlow said.
‘That got me, I have just been sitting here all night.’
Mr Barlow’s home was gutted in the blaze, with the fire killing several of his pet snakes from him.
Police spent Tuesday examining the property and cordoned off surrounding streets for much of the day.
Homicide detectives are investigating if drugs or a drug debt may have been a motive and believe more than one weapon was involved.
‘We don’t believe it was a random attack, we believe it was a targeted attack on the victim,’ Queensland Detective Gary Watts said.
Suspects
Police said the suspects confronted the Barlow couple before fleeing in a car headed for the Warrego Expressway.
“She was confronted by all four people and then they left,” Watts said.
“She has witnessed what can only be described as a horrific incident and she is assisting us with our investigations.”
Friends remembered Mr. Barlow as a great companion.
“Jamie was a great guy (who) had a heart of gold and would give the shirt he was wearing for someone else if he needed it more,” Kel Maree Gilmour told The Chronicle.
“He always took the time to stop to tell a thread or smile and say hello.
‘He will miss the smile on his face…he had a kind nature and a good heart.’
Mr. Barlow’s shattered family is determined to get justice and had a message for his alleged killers.
“When they are caught and brought to court, we will be there every day,” his mother said.
