From beloved party anthems to powerful ballads, Kesha’s musical journey is a testament to empowerment and self-love. Throughout her career, her music has been known to make unforgettable nights better and hard days easier. Put more simply: as an artist, she takes good care of her fans. And while shooting our June 2023 cover, Kesha shed some light on how she takes care of herself.

During this round of SELF-Care / Don’t Care, Kesha gave an especially ardent endorsement of two controversial wellness essentials: Love is Blind and Real Housewives. “[Love is Blind] is an important American establishment,” our June cover star quips of the popular Netflix dating show. “I care very much for it.” And although the stars of the Real Housewives franchise may not be known for promoting serenity, they’ve earned a permanent place in Kesha’s self-care rotation: “It’s something I’m very passionate about.”

Kesha is also “addicted to vacuuming,” entirely against the concept of waking up to alarms, and begrudgingly in favor of morning workouts. Contrary to what some of her iconic early album covers might have you believe, she condemns passing out with makeup on. (And it seems like we should all follow suit: she’s glowing.)

Check out the full video below (or on IG) to hear more about the singer/songwriter’s favorite (and not-so-favorite) wellness habits, and don’t miss Kesha’s June 2023 SELF cover story.
