LATE actress Cindy Morgan posted a concerning social media plea before her sudden death on Saturday.
The film and TV star, who sizzled the screen in 1980’s Caddyshack and 1982’s Tron, tragically died from currently unknown causes at age 69.
Cindy, a beloved blonde bombshell who struck fame in the 1980s, has left fans reeling over the major loss.
But her personal life seemingly took a turn for the worse, leading up to her tragic death on January 6, 2024.
Around two weeks ago, the actress took to X (formerly Twitter) with a worrisome update.
On December 17, 2023, she wrote: “All I want for Christmas is a safe place to live! I’ve got two weeks.”
Attached were screenshots of an erratic text message exchange with a woman named Sherryl, who appeared to be her landlord.
Sherryl texted her [seen below]: “Two weeks is the end of the month. Your agent contacted me and said you would be out and made arrangements to move.”
Cindy shared the entire exchange which saw her write back: “I don’t have an agent.”
Sherryl wrote back a name that Cindy crossed out but appeared to be Superman’s Henry Cavill.
Cindy replied: “That person is a fraud who got ahold of me because I’m famous.
“I’m sure you wouldn’t know what that’s like. People are always trying to take advantage.
“He has no right, no paperwork, and has been turned into the FBI by the real [crossed out name],” she concluded.
Sherryl replied: “Oh Lord,” and Cindy cryptically followed up: “[Crossed out name] is a friend now and knows all about it.
“I helped him track the guy down. I’m sure the FBI wants to know all about this because it happens more than once.”
Sherryl replied: “I don’t have time for [this], Cindy I just need my place.”
Cindy only posted once more on X; her final post was on December 23 when she celebrated the winter solstice.
‘SO CONCERNING’
Fans replied to the post with deep concern after the news broke of the star’s death.
One person penned: “I hope this unfortunate situation wasn’t a contributing factor. RIP Cindy.”
Another wrote: “I am thinking the same. This post is concerning indeed.”
Others flooded social media to mourn the star:
“Rest in Peace Cindy Morgan. Lacey Underall was an iconic character.”
Another wrote: “RIP Cindy Morgan. I will always be angry she didn’t get to reprise her role as Lori/Yori in TRON: LEGACY.
“The last few years weren’t kind to her but she was always a positive and lovely presence on social media.”

Up until that concerning post, Cindy mainly shared photos with former co-stars and seemed happy.
TRAGIC LOSS
Cindy’s death was reported by TMZ on December 6, 2024.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the actress’ death took place in the area to the outlet.
No further details have been given regarding when she died or what the circumstances were at this time.
The outlet confirmed that her body is at a local funeral home there in Florida.
Cindy is perhaps best known for playing bombshell Lacey Underall in the famed golf flick alongside Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, and Rodney Dangerfield.
She portrayed the country club owner’s hot-to-trot niece, who catches the attention of nearly every male character.
DAZZLING RESUME
Cindy was born Cynthia Ann Cichorski on September 29, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois.
While studying communications at Northern Illinois University, Cindy spun records on the college’s radio station.
She used the stage name Cindy Morgan, taken from a story she read about Morgan le Fay when she was 12 years old.
She then became a meteorologist in Illinois, pulled late shifts at a local radio station, and moved to Los Angeles in 1978.
At the age of 25, Morgan made her official acting debut in an episode of the comedy series Up Yours in 1978.
She had her big break in Caddyshack two years later.
Her resume now spans an astounding 37 TV and movie credits.
She played two major roles in 1980’s sci-fi Tron – Lora, a computer programmer in the real world, and Yori – her alter-ego in the film’s computer-generated world.
Cindy’s TV resume was equally impressive, with roles on hit shows like The Love Boat, Chips, Falcon Crest, Matlock, and The Larry Sanders Show.
However, work fizzled out after the 1990s, with only six credits to her name since.
Her last credit was a 2022 indie film, Face of the Trinity.
