Corey “Big Hoss” Harrison paid tribute to his beloved baby bro on Instagram with a throwback photo taken when the two of them were young kids. They both looked like they were having a blast playing with their plastic dinosaur toys at bath time. “Wax wtf I will always love you bubba,” Corey captioned the sweet snapshot, which was dated January 28, 1988.
Adam Harrison’s grieving father shared a more recent photo that was snapped at a restaurant. “You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam,” he wrote in the caption, punctuating his heartbreaking post with a broken heart emoji. The comments section of his post was quickly flooded with emotional messages from fans. “I am so sorry for your loss Rick. Too many of our children are taken by the disease of addiction,” read one comment. Another well-wisher let Rick Harrison know how much they’ve enjoyed seeing him show his sons some fatherly love on “Pawn Stars.”
In a 2012 HuffPost interview, Corey revealed that Adam had given up the pawn shop biz to become a plumber, but it’s unclear if he was still working in that profession when he died. Corey also couldn’t resist some good-natured ribbing when asked how Adam felt about his older brother’s reality show stardom. “I think there has to be some type of jealousy,” he quipped.
