Billy Jack Haynes is now reportedly charged with the murder of his wife, Janette Becraft. The murder occurred on Thursday in Portland’s Lents area. Portland Police responded around 9:52 a.m. PST in the 6000 block of SE 100th Avenue. The neighbors believed Becraft had dementia. According to the Willamette Week, Haynes surrendered to authorities and is being held in police custody at a local hospital. Haynes previously sued the WWE, alleging that it failed to safeguard its wrestlers from brain injuries. According to an article from 2014, Haynes had at least 15 concussions and was depressed at the time. According to the paper, he experienced dementia-like symptoms. However, in 2021, the Supreme Court refused to consider the case.

Where is Billy Jack Haynes now?

Billy Jack Haynes is now facing prosecution for the death of his wife. Portland police have arrested Haynes, 70, after his 85-year-old wife was discovered shot at their home earlier this week. Haynes was born on July 10, 1953, in Portland, and had a difficult upbringing. In an interview with The Hannibal TV, Billy discusses all he had to go through as a child. Haynes said he was sexually and physically assaulted from the age of four to eight or nine. He said the perpetrator was his mother’s lover, a Portland politician. When he was 15, his mother and uncle were killed, allegedly by two politicians. Many wrestlers begin their careers early, but Haynes started at the age of 28. He was originally a janitor who resigned his job to begin training with Stu Hart.

He trained at Dungeon Pro Wrestling School and briefly competed for Hart’s Stampede Wrestling. Haynes and Bruce Hart created a tag team in Stampede Wrestling and began wrestling as “Billy Jack” in the Pacific Northwest region. Haynes entered the WWF in 1986 and began his war with Randy Savage for the Intercontinental Championship. He then feuded with Hercules Hernandez, and their feud culminated at Wrestlemania III, called “The Battle of the Full Nelsons.”

He quit WWF two years later, in 1988, and retired from the sport ten years later. Haynes sued WWE in 2014, saying that the corporation neglected to safeguard and educate its wrestlers about significant head trauma while extensively marketing and benefiting from the brutality that resulted in such injuries.

Haynes Once Admitted to His Role in the 1987 Murder

Billy Jack Haynes, a former WWE wrestler, confesses to having a hand in the unsolved 1987 railroad track murder of two youngsters. The victims were two youths, Kevin Ives (17) and Don Henry (16). In an interview in 2018, he claimed to have seen the two boys’ murders. Haynes went on to say, “Now, August 23, 1987, thirty years ago, I was on the railroad tracks in Alexander, Arkansas, and witnessed everything that happened to two young boys on the tracks.”

He also claimed the deaths were linked to a cocaine smuggling organization, and in his second video, he claimed to have smuggled and traded enormous amounts of cocaine throughout the United States. Haynes’ assertions were dismissed because wrestling fans assumed he was used to making bizarre statements. He earlier said that WWE founder Vince McMahon fathered the kid of a dead wrestler. He also alleged that Steve Austin was ultimately responsible for the murder of wrestling star ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper.
