Domenica Calarco has shared her striking new look after chopping off her golden locks for a good cause.

The former MAFS star, 28, is known for her blonde bob but has now undergone a style change in support of The Leukaemia Foundation.

She took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal that she had chopped her hair short to raise money for the Australian charity’s World Greatest Shave venture.

The appeal sees thousands of Australians shave, cut or colour their hair as an ‘act of support for people facing blood cancer‘ and to raise money for cancer research.

Getting involved, Domenica showed off her striking new look as she revealed she had both cut and coloured her hair in a bid to raise vital funds for the charity.

She shared a video documenting the process as she chopped her signature golden locks into a short pixie cut, before she also dyed her hair dark brunette.

The reality TV star shared further snaps to her Instagram Stories showing off her new style after raising more than $13,000 dollars for the charity with her trim.

According to her fundraising page, Domenica is around $1,300 off reaching her $15,000 goal as she continues to publicise the campaign on Instagram.

In the caption of her transformation video, she penned: ‘I DID IT!!! I still don’t have worlds to describe how this feels! I am so incredibly proud of all the money we are continuing to raise for @leukaemia_foundation.

‘This is for all the people who don’t have a choice to shave their heads. CUT @deeparkerattwood_ @wieselmann @worldsgreatestshave.’
