AMANDA Bynes has posted a rare new photo of herself after the release of the HBO docuseries Quiet on Set.
The documentary features The Amanda Show and covers the toxic culture that happened behind cameras on some of the most popular Nickelodeon children’s shows in the early 2000’s.
Amanda tends to live a quiet life outside of the spotlight after growing up in fame since being a child.
She posted a rare photo of herself sitting in a chair where she is sitting cross-armed and cross-legged.
Amanda featured the post in a Story Highlight which is captioned “babe.”
She’s wearing a beanie, a white jean jacket, and grey leggings, and is smiling softly at the camera.
Amanda’s Instagram post had no caption, but the latest photo came after a post where she confessed she’s gained weight due to depression.
She previously confessed, “I’ve gained over 20 pounds in the past few months from being depressed.
“I’m doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don’t feel like working out or eating clean.”
Amanda stated, “I weigh 162 pounds right now and want to get back to 110 pounds.”
MOVING ON
Although The Amanda Show was featured in Quiet on Set, Amanda was not interviewed.
Her co-star Drake Bell spoke out about the abuse he suffered on the set of the Nickelodeon show.
There have been several rumors about what happened to Amanda behind the scenes with producer Dan Schneider, but nothing has been confirmed.
Amanda has not made any official statement after the series was released.
As of now, the Nickelodeon star has put her acting on hold to pursue new career endeavors.
According to her Instagram, she is working on a podcast and a coffee table book.
AMANDA’S JOURNEY
Amanda’s mental health was addressed in June 2023 when she was taken into police custody.
She underwent a mental health evaluation after being arrested.
According to TMZ, officers received a call about a woman in distress.
Amanda called 911 on herself so she could be properly evaluated.
This came only a few weeks after Amanda was found wandering the streets before being rushed to the hospital.
She was spotted in downtown Los Angeles, California, all alone without any clothes on, TMZ reported.
The actress then flagged down a car, informed the driver she was at the end of a psychotic episode, and proceeded to call 911 herself.
Amanda was detained on a psych hold for several days before being released.
