SZA Left fans confused after she shared herself glammed up on social media but failed to attend the Met Gala.
The 34-year-old singer uploaded several getting-ready shots via her Instagram Story but completely missed out on the event.
SZA posted a photo of herself standing in a bathroom in front of a mirror in New York on Monday night.
She wore a white robe which she held over her boobs as she was completely naked underneath.
The star rocked green metallic eye makeup which matched her long acrylic nails.
SZA’s red locks were lightly styled and she wore a pair of pointy elf ears which poked out of her hair.
She held her phone up, which had a Shrek phone case on and pouted at the camera.
“Garden fairy,” SZA captioned the post.
On the next Story, SZA zoomed into her face on the camera as she continued to get glam.
A few hours later, the singer shared a video of her leaving a hotel dressed in a yellow mini dress, apparently ready for an event.

The dress featured purple flower detailing and a tie detail at the bottom, which hitched up the skirt and exposed SZA’s long legs.
She posed for cameras on a red carpet before walking into a waiting car.

Despite sharing the videos, SZA did not attend the Met Gala and fans flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to express their confusion.
“SZA finally leaving her hotel room after 8 hours I’m crying,” a fan wrote.
“WHERE IS SZA?” asked another.
“SZA only making it to the met gala after party is sending me girl where were you #MetGala,” said a third.
“SZA girl where have you been?” enquired a fourth.
AFTER PARTY TIME
Despite SZA not attending the main event, she appeared to go to the after-party with fellow A-listers such as Lizzo, Kim Kardashian and Gigi Hadid.
The Met Gala got off to a rocky start after editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour, appeared to break the number one rule of the night.
Anna admitted people struggled to interpret the Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion theme and its dress code, The Garden of Time, at Monday’s event.
Fans predicted that celebrities would wear pajamas on the red carpet for the “sleeping” aspect of the theme after there was huge confusion following the theme announcement in November.
The star opened up about the event on Today which aired on Monday before the Gala.
“This exhibition broke my cardinal rule,” she said.
“When we came up with the title Sleeping Beauties, it’s wonderful and poetic and romantic, but actually, it could be many, many things.”
Met Gala 2024 Theme
The theme of the 2024 Met Gala is The Garden of Time, which draws inspiration from the latest exhibition of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.
The editor collaborated with Andrew Bolton, the curator of The Costume Institute, when establishing the dress code.
“I said, ‘What are we gonna say to people to wear to this night?’ And he said, ‘Well, what about ‘Garden of Time?’” she recalled.
“So, I fear that we’ve unleashed a lot of confusion out there, and for which I deeply apologize.”
The editor then said she expected to see a lot of flowers when asked how people would interpret the theme.
