MIRANDA Lambert wore a raunchy slogan t-shirt while answering fan questions in a new video.
On Thursday, her clothing brand Idyllwind shared a video of Miranda, 40, dressed in a t-shirt from the label that read “Cowboys Do It Better” on Instagram.
She paired the suggestive top with a pair of blue denim jeans and a black belt with a large silver buckle.
The video comes less than two months after Miranda’s husband Brendan McLaughlin was allegedly filmed grinding on women at the Nashville singer’s bar Casa Rosa.
In the new Instagram clip, the three-time Grammy winner is asked to name the albums that “shaped your life” after receiving a fan question about her biggest musical influences.
“Anything by Merle Haggard, he’s just a big influence on me, on songwriting from early on,” Miranda said.
“And Emmylou Harris, and all the greats, Reba (McEntire), Dolly (Parton),” she continued.
“I kind of grew up on singer-songwriters, and then found my own path through all kinds of music, but mostly country,” Miranda reflected on her career.
She also listed John Prine, Guy Clark, “a lot of the Texas Outlaws”, Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings as artists who inspired her own musical journey.
Miranda recently released a new track titled Alimony, with several fans decoding the divorce song’s lyrics as a cryptic message for her husband Brendan.
Alimony, released a month after Brendan was filmed dancing with women, is part of Miranda’s new album called Postcards from Texas.
The song is about a woman seeking spousal support after divorcing her husband.
Its lyrics read, “Just know as soon as you get caught / They’ll all be good as mine.
“And you’re gonna love how this all works out / ‘Cause it all works out for me / What’s mine is mine, and what’s yours is mine.”
The song concluded, “If you’re gonna be a dumba** / Honey, I hope you remember the alimony.”
Fans suggested Brendan, 32, “helped write” the song, after videos of his interactions with multiple women at Miranda’s Nashville bar were posted on TikTok.
Miranda Lambert’s Relationship History
Miranda Lambert rose to fame in 2003, after she appeared on Nashville Star. The singer released a number of hits that put her on the map in the mainstream country world. Early in her career, she was linked to fellow country crooner Blake Shelton, whom she eventually married. The pair divorced in 2015, however, and both have moved on.
Here’s a look at Miranda’s relationship history:
Blake Shelton:
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton got engaged in 2010 after several years of dating. The pair married in 2011 and stayed together until 2015.
Anderson East:
Miranda and Anderson went public with their relationship in 2016. They were together for two years, calling it quits in 2018.
Evan Felker:
Miranda and Evan, famous for being a singer in the Turnpike Troubadours, dated briefly from June to August 2018. At the time, Evan was still legally married to his estranged wife Staci Felker.
Brendan McLoughlin:
Miranda debuted her romance with Brendan in February 2019, revealing that they were married. They celebrated their second wedding anniversary in February 2021 and attended the Grammy Awards together two months later.
The U.S. Sun obtained and reviewed the since-deleted clips that also showed Brendan having an intimate conversation with a woman on the dance floor.
Miranda’s representatives did not respond to The U.S. Sun’s requests for comment at the time.
The mystery woman in the videos later spoke out, telling InTouch magazine that the interaction was “innocent” and Brendan was “not flirty”.
Asking to remain anonymous, she also clarified that “there was no vibe whatsoever of anything other than friendly, innocent dancing and talking.”
“He was not flirty,” she told the publication. “The bar was extremely loud, and even yelling in each other’s ear, it was hard to hear anything.
“He left about an hour, maybe an hour and a half, before we left,” she continued. “Truly, none of us ever felt that there was any flirting happening.
“It was just dancing, laughing, and talking. He was friendly and casual, but never inappropriate or suggestive in any way,” she concluded.
LOVE STORY
Miranda and Brendan met in November 2018 after a chance encounter on the sets of Good Morning America.
While Miranda was slated to perform, Brendan was working security for the morning show.
After a whirlwind romance, the pair tied the knot in a secret ceremony less than three months later.
Miranda first confirmed news of their marriage in a Valentine’s Day post on X/Twitter in February 2019, writing “we got hitched!”
“In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for…. me,” her post read.
In an interview with People magazine in May, Miranda revealed the one rule in her marriage to Brendan was “communication.”
We just talk it out, whatever it is, we talk about everything,” she said.
“And I think communication is super important, especially because women, we expect men to know what we’re thinking and they don’t. We got to tell them,” Miranda added.
